| Does 31 years here enable me to call myself a Brentonian? We have the Fountain Leisure Centre & Watermans & a Football Club with various activities for the young attached to it. We also have parks which could be lovely and buildings within them on the national At Risk list. The disservice that Clegg and Cameron are doing is slashing council grants across the board without first looking to see where stringent cuts have already been made. At the time the Library was set up, Councils had a great deal more autonomy - and the councillors enormous pride in providing for the community - than they have now. |
