A survey /poll on the Hounslow Chronicle website shows just 65% only saying that library cut-backs should not go ahead... I don't suppose local Councillors (all 6 Brentford and Syon are Labour) are planning to hold public meetings about the proposed cull.. they are waiting to see local reaction. So the e-petition, signatures at the Library, Read-ins and general protests are the things that will give Councillors a jolt. Yes, it would be very helpful to have facts and figures.. but where are local councillors' input or helpful guidance... So, protest is the answer without knowing what's what. Information fog! Blimey the Library might be being charged £150 to change a light bulb.. we don't know. |
