| I read on the board in the library that LBH have put up, that LBH have indeed saved 1 Million Pounds, obviously with that kind of funding our libraries will not have to close. How difficult was it to decide to spend 500,000 Pounds on refurbishing Osterley when they knew that it was up for closure, the same thing for other libraries that have been refurbished, if Osterley cost half a million then Isleworth must have cost us one million.Why?? was any of this work given the go ahead when discussions had already begun on the closures. Something is just not right, our Libraries are threatened with closure because of lack of funds and yet LBH are wasting funds hand over foot,where is the logic in that. |
