Isleworth library is very well used, especially by very young children and people using the computers, I don't know where you get cheap books they are a horrendous price to buy, that's why charity shops do so well out of them. I managed to get a Val McDermid last week in Poundland, hard cover and the proper retail price was £18.99. As for those Kindle things - nothing beats a real book with pages, I can't be doing with screens - too hard to read and take in all the detail. |
