| Glad to hear it Robin, and thanks for the words of support. Councillor Hearn was actually having a pop at me with his posting, making a reference to the "wicked Conservatives" as if it had been a term that I had used, although I had never said anything of the kind. But his posting came across to me generally as a defence of his party's record as opposed to a political attack on others which I think is why it didn't irritate me quite as much as yours did. You are quite right however, it would be wrong for Conservatives to try to take the moral high ground when it is their policy that has forced councils everywhere to consider such drastic measures. |
