| Am I obtuse I sincerely thought that the Libraries were under the auspice's of Laing's and the Leisure Center's under Fusion and yet as a "Leisure Campus" they would appear to now be combined is that right? if this is so then why are we paying both Laing & Fusion to run them as individual enterprises. Libraries are a necessity to an awful lot of people where as a Gym is a luxury, you can achieve fitness by walking and diet, I do! Was it really the right thing in this economic doom and gloom to replace everything in these Gymnasiums I don't think so, can we not find out just how much money has been expended on both Kew & Isleworth Leisure Centre's so that we can allow the Community to know that there Libraries are up for closure because of lack of funds whilst both of these Leisure facilities were completly refurbished. |
