Quite frankly Hazel an additional 50p per year on our Council Tax to keep our Libraries open is not too much. It gives an awful lot of pleasure to many many people. Talking of spending money in an economical way, I suppose that we have to pay for scaffolding on building's as we outsource then why? has the complete frontage of one of the neighbouring houses in my road been covered in it for the last 14 days without any work or workmen being done or seen-just how much money has this cost us and been wasted, perhaps it is little things like this that cost us so much, which could be saved all over the borough which would keep our libraries open. |
