In answer to Steve - no, during the wet, damp weather the ground was churned to blazes, certainly no grazing to be had, but then people have complained that they have seen horses in Redlees Park albeit on a rein. The response from Ed Mayne was that they hadn't made any arrangements for that! No-one of course suggested they had, the point was that his, and his colleagues, failure to get a grip and do their job had led to someone taking the p*ss, because they know this lot are too weak and brainless to do anything about it, so consequently they can do just as they please. In answer to Sarah, no idea, but my neighbour who walks her young children to school daily has reported that the incidents of dog fouling have escalated since access to the park was barred. The dedicated dog waste bin is still in the park, no-one gave a though to moving it out where people could use it I assume. But owners really should bag it and take it home if they can't dispose of it properly. Would that we had representatives who occasionally thought things through, or even just thought, what the hell they were creating when they let officers loose and refused to put their mistakes right. |
