| To get back to the original matter of this thread: Finally got a copy of the lease for the park under an FOI request and having to chase it up twice! However, in spite of what we've been told by both Cllr. Mayne and the Dear Leader I was unable to see where it stated that the lease could only be terminated now if the horses owner does something that breaches it. Now, I am no legal eagle at all, but from my reading of the section - "Termination of Agreement" It says "This licence may be determined by either the Licencee or the Council on giving to the other one month's prior notice in writing to expire at any such time such notice to be served either personally or by pre-paid post or recorded delivery to the Licencee's at their address and marked for the attention of London Borough of Hounslow at the Civic Centre Lampton Rd. Hounslow Middx. TW3 4DN". There is absolutely nothing else. To say that our council is economic with the truth would be to understate things, I don't know what annoys me more, the fact that they go on lying to cover their sorry backsides, or they think we're as thick as they so obviously are. And laughably the map showing the area of the park is titled Land adj Northcote Ave. FELTHAM! |
