| You really couldn't make this up could you? Who were these two, and quite what were their reasons for this? Given that all these so-called local representatives do is whinge on about how they're having to make cuts and how they have to resort to handing local amenities over for livestock grazing to 'save' a measly £2000 p.a. you'd think they'd be delighted that some creative thinking on fund raising by resident's groups was being put into action. They are the limit, a disgrace, and gutless, is their a point in these people who cost us, the taxpayer, an average of a cool £9,000+ a year? They clearly do not understand the fundamentals of democracy, preferring instead the Kim Jong Un approach. I wonder if they understand or even care about the damage they are doing to their party's prospects come May? And I say that as someone who has never voted anything but Labour in my entire life and a former party member for over 30 years. I'm not sure if I am disappointed or appalled - quite possibly both. |
