Paul - We have a meeting today with Mr Frost from Communities and Participation Team (the New TPO's) I want to say that my issues with the TA on Ivybridge and my comments about those that have ran it over the years is nothing to do with who they vote for. I don't care who people vote for i will work with all residents whatever their political views. My issue is that for years on this estate the Chair has always been officiated with the Local Labour group. The issue that i have with that is if you were a Friend or voter of the ICG you either got thrown off the Committee or refused membership. Action for Ivybridge and NITA everyone on those groups (inc myself) were Labour voters, yes maybe Labour was popular and no one else on the estate who voted for another political group wanted to join the TA but its very strange. Its also strange that Mr Boucher in January posted up on here about the URAI holding a EGM and 2 wks later a EGM was called. |
