| According to a report I read on social media today residents manning a small rugby match day parking scheme at the Bridge Link Centre on Ivybridge were harangued by two ward councillors and told their fund-raising operation would be stopped. It seems this administration has finally dropped any pretensions of wanting to work with non-council residents' groups and are on something of a mission to starve and harry them out of existence. So I ask once again - why are Council Tax payers funding the recruitment of two Community Engagement Officers at a total of around £70k p.a. when CE demonstrably does not figure in the regime's plans for the future? |
