No, not a lot since you ask - our councillors have not, and are still not, representing us properly, and, correct me if I'm wrong, but in a democracy we are still allowed to complain are we not? How else do you change things? I don't know where you've been, but if you are happy with Hopeless Homes managing to sit idly by why a massive fraud was committed under the management's noses then you are indeed a very odd person. This is public money we are talking about and at a time when we are bombarded with service cuts I think people are entitled to ask searching questions as to how and why this was perpetrated, and why no-one noticed. Perhaps you aren't involved in any local issues, those of us who are find that for the most part, you get obfuscation, contradiction, incompetence and sometimes just plain old lies. We'd actually like to work with our representatives for everyone's benefit unfortunately they are more interested in either covering up mistakes or dictating to us what they are going to do in spite of what we think, honesty and humility are in short supply. Being elected does not give anyone a monopoly on being right. |
