I have to say I would be amazed, nay gobsmacked, if the Labour councillors got off their rear ends and did anything for anyone locally, obviously a free meal gets their attention though. I didn't understand this bit though: "and there is no reason why there can't be 2 groups helping residents as long as we don't find each other." I don't think you can really say much about what someone does in their private life or who they decide to support, what people say and what they actually do are often two quite different things! I just don't see any purpose in a local political party even thinking they would want to run a local residents association, what would they stand to get from that? It certainly wouldn't guarantee votes if this lot's record is anything to go by! They can't do what they're supposed to never mind do anything extra, and their recent track record of getting up noses should be in the Guinness book of records! |
