| We all used to have "waste paper baskets" and not chuck everything in one bin. A shredder may have its own basket and it is easier to shred anything as and when (the minimal amount as it is better not to shorten fibres by shredding). We also sort last minute but some of it has already been separated. You can expect to have tweak what you do as you find packaging changes and your buying and eating habits change. Step 1: Use reusable bags and free up that space that all those carriers bounce out of. It's amazing how good it feels to have freed up that space - and it gives you a chance to use that space for something else. |
