| I don't believe you can blame the government for underfunding when Council are incompetent. There is plenty of money but these clowns just squander it. Look at their approved redundancy payments for the dead wood. The private sector couldn't afford it so why should taxpayers. Normal redundancy approved by government is 1 weeks pay for every years service with maximum 12 weeks with max £325 per week. Go figure. Director of failed recycling scheme gets payout of £302,000 whereas in private sector he would receive £1625. And how many directors of environment and assistant directors have been made 'redundant' in the last 10 years? You couldn't make it up. |
