"It is a great shame that the Council has not been working with residents to find better solutions." This is the problem in a nutshell! This badly run Council does not work with residents at all. They threw the Community Engagement policy, drawn up by the previous administration, under the direction of the ICG, in the bin. ( I wonder if it was shredded and recycled or just shoved in a black bag :-) ) The current system was not discussed with residents, was not thought through and does not work. There was no consultation. That's what you get from a despotic Council. Why they could not even learn a thing or two from properly run Councils one can only wonder. |
