| I must admit that it has taken a while to remember what goes in which container (seems odd that tins go in with plastics) but a number of referrals to the very clear guidance given on the Council's leaflet means that I've finally 'got it'. It seems a bit of an excuse that you have given up on recycling plastics and started, as you say, to throw it all straight into your wheelie bin. Most plastics are recyclable. Here's a reminder of what is okay on the plastic front: bottles, tubs (of the yoghurt variety, not plant) and trays. You are asked to remove the film lids on these same items. Difficult? I don't think so. |
