| Looking at the recent properties for sale or sold in Church Street one wonders if the Street wasn't closed to boost the prices. I still could never understand why the Apprentice wanted the street closed when it would lose so much passing custom. On the other hand it has become so tatty and terrible, one wonders if the owners are intending to sell it off for development into flats and hoping that the closure of the street would boost the value of the prime location. Otherwise it just makes no sense at all. |
