"Most people on here put their views, issues and anxieties forward but it is so very, very few. Such a small percentage it does not register." I am aware of quite a few people, who religiously view this and the Chiswick forum, never contribute or express their views but they certainly welcome the information and debate so hopefully issues which concern them will register and be helpful. On this particular thread subject, people will have their own views on how badly they have been affected by huge traffic problems on Twickenham Road, Worton Road, South Street, Linkfield Road, St Margarets Road, St Johns Road, Brantwood Road, Worple Road and Worple Avenue. Peple will have their own views on the pollution they experience when walking their children to the local schools who are suffering because of the Church Street closure. Notwithstanding people will have their own views on the motivation of the Labour Councillors who close a street despite the overwhelming majority who voted for it to stay open after a Consultation. It is a pity that those people have not expressed their views on the forum but there is some hope that they will express their view at the ballot box. Possibly the massive traffic problems this morning will make many people think again and I believe the commitment displayed by the Lib Dems is a welcome breath of fresh air. |
