| If only Hounslow would lean on TfL and lobby for traffic lights on the roundabout at the junction of A316 and Twickenham Rd./London Rd. Twickenham that would make some difference. It is the only roundabout without lights and it would help traffic flows - certainly down this end. The whole thing has been a disaster because it was done in a piecemeal fashion instead of an overall traffic management plan. One councillor at the recent planning meeting re The George development complained bitterly about the traffic chaos as he has to attend WMUH regularly - but in spite of the objections precisely because of the traffic implications, voted for it anyway! Go figure! |
