I remember one previous Head of Traffic at Hounslow who pointed out that same thing to me when we were discussing One Way working, seems to have gone by the board now though. At the meeting the other week re Church St. somebody did make what I thought was a very sensible observation. That a good, hard look at the existing traffic conditions on the Twickenham Rd. should have been done well before thinking about closing any roads. This piecemeal approach really is a huge folly. |
