According to LBH, the introduction of a CPZ in Park Road, Grove Park, Chiswick will lead to a reduction in the number of parking spaces from 305 to 178 - a loss of 127 space. There are 91 houses in Park Road who together have 150 off the street parking spaces. That's a total of 455 parking spaces in this street of 91 houses ! Over 90 per cent of Grove Park residents voted against a CPZ in 2011.All 9 Chiswick councillors voted against a CPZ. Residents remain opposed to a CPZ. But this Park Road CPZ is being imposed on Grove Park by Isleworth Councillor Ed Mayne who once stood for election in Grove Park and lost. Councillor Ed Mayne's parents live in Park Road. |
