To be honest Alex I don't think its currently as bad as it has been. I work very late quite often and have driven round for up to 40 mins looking for a space. Sometimes I've given up and driven to my parents in law and stayed over in Northfields. Several years ago this was 4 or 5 times a month. But I've only had that problem once or twice now in a year. That said, I don't work as late as often and I don't use the car as much. But if I do leave my car unused, I don't want to leave it for any amount of time far from home and stuck outside someone elses front door for days on end. Quite a few residents leave their unused cars outside for weeks sometimes. Normally it's a minor niggle, but it's when it's a van or a giant steroid 4x4. They shut all the light out of the hall and front room and we have to have the lights on all day. Two seater sportscars and old minis are still most welcome!! |
