Alex, sorry but I am totally confused by your posts. 6 o'clock last night was a problem because there were non residents but tonight was ok because they were residents, CPZs should not be implemented on a street by street basis but following Hamilton Rd's implementation you are all for it because if one street does, others should follow and £60 a year is ok because - despite the evidence to the contrary from every other borough that has introduced these schemes which have doubled in price in a short period - an increase in fees is pure speculation? Do you play Jenga and lose a lot because your logic is absolute nonsense. 100 cars in a street; 70 parking spaces = people struggling to park 100 cars in a street; 60 parking spaces under a CPZ (because every bay is equal size) = MORE people struggling to park Now = FREE - struggling to park CPZ = £60 struggling to park Where is the logic??????? |
