| John Todd - we get on well- but please be candid- it is unfair to mislead people 1 9/10 councils of all colours are going to raise their council tax the same about as Hounslow 2 CPZs - this isn't an earner for the council in the normal council tax sense - it is ring fenced for transport eg freedom pass for pensioners (as you get from us!), homes to school transport for children with disabilities and other special needs, traffic management improvements etc 3 as for millions of pounds being paid my developers in lieu of affordable housing - as you know this is ring fenced - it can't be spent on things such as adult social care, social worker etc |
