"I hear that for every council tax bill collected once all of the borough services have been allocated there is £127 left which the borough intend on spending on Social housing. The increase in council tax will also go towards social housing and not to improving the current services." Please do tell where you heard this - social housing is what councils all over the country should be building but as far as I know Hounslow haven't announced any plans to do this. All they seem to do is bang on about the mythical 'affordable housing' which no-one can define. I think you may find that although councils are being allowed to raise the council tax - the money from this towards social care is ring-fenced. |
