| If we want decent local services then we cannot go on getting more whilst paying less. No-one likes paying more out, but realistically this is the most cost-effective way of paying and I agree social care has to be high on the agenda, we simply cannot go on as we are. The payments for green waste collection and permit increases are as a result of the constant insistence of thinking keeping council tax down is good and something to be proud of, pretty disgraceful for a supposedly Labour council. |
