| And how would you know of the link Adam ? Unless you are directly involved it's hardly something anyone does in normal day to day life. What you get in the post is what you expect, not something that was not proposed. We went last night because of Matt Harmer's informative newsletter. Primarily because of detail issues. None of which were discussed. Obviously not quite informative enough as we too had no idea about the full hours scheme being recommended. Nor was a copy of the agenda available. The council officer had no chance to address the two people who asked clear and well informed questions as he was harried by the chair and the councillor who was also flustering the chair from aside. Residents at the back were all surprised by the proposal. No residents speakers were present and no questions were asked by ward councillors despite the fact that there are a lot of concerns. Confusion abounds over where Ealing Road East actually is. Quite frankly it was all a bit of an embarrassment. Worst of all it is the wrong solution. If residents had known fully what was coming then the place would have been under siege. |
