| We were passed a letter to residents from Labour assuring residents that the scheme is NOT final and further meetings will be held and the option as petitioned has proved popular enough to be properly considered. This was posted through a few days before the election . But I have kept it. We shall see. But many I know voted for them as a consequence. The local Conservatives made no issue of it at all and the ones who called at the door had to have explained to them what CPZ stood for! Little wonder they lost. |
