| Whilst no-one wants the 08:30 – 18:30 six day a week option I am not sure that the weekday 10:00 – 11:00 and then a gap of 8 hours until 19:00 is going to be the answer either. Perhaps it would be better to extend each period by an hour, so 10:00 – 12:00 and then 18:00 – 20:00. It would mean that hopefully the streets would be clear(ish) of incoming vehicles during the day but leave enough time for visitors, etc. and people coming back from work would be able to park without having to wait for the 19:00 leavers. Is there any time frame for this to be introduced yet? – the football season is almost upon us. |
