My post was somewhat tongue in cheek - the implication of course being that many will have been 'lobbied' to vote and thus the 55% achievement. I do indeed find John Todd's post very funny when referring to officer comments. "The proposal must be considered in regards to its impacts on amenity and public safety.....if it is considered that the proposal will have a significant adverse impact on the amenity of the immediate environment and surrounding areas. Refusal has therefore been recommended." How strange that in the Mogden issue, same officers did not recommend refusal on the same grounds as "adverse impact on the amenity of the IMMEDIATE environment" ! But John Todd says thats OK. |
