In terms of this particular advertising, fair enough, everyone has their own perspective, but I can't share it. As I posted earlier unless a road is completely straight, empty and has solid walls on both sides, then drivers have to deal with distractions. Be it another vehicle, an object in the sky, a hot woman (or guy) etc. As drivers we are supposed to be capable of dealing with reasonable distraction within the definition of driving with due care and attention. In my own view (and clearly the view of the relevant experts in the field), if someone driving up the eastbound sliproad is distracted by the adverts on top of these towers, they are not driving with the due care and attention required to be on the road. And as a driver, cyclist and pedestrian, that terrifies me. |
