| I have been renovating no 18 BRS for the past couple of months and having seen the state of the water main I have grave concerns that it will not cope with additional housing in the near vicinity. The water main runs through the back gardens of 20,18,16 and 14; It is old and approx 1inch in diameter. The question I have is has the proposed developers/council carried out any due diligence as to whether the local water and sewage infrastructure can sustain additional development? I have photos of the mains, we had to dig up half the garden to replace the stop cock. |
