The issue of the football club potentially moving thus nullifying any objections on such grounds is a red herring - the football club move is a long way off etc. However, given the football club play at home on average once every two weeks for 8 months of the year, I don't personally regard this sub-issue as one that should carry any significant weight. Haven't seen the email so can't comment about the relative 'merits' of any objections cited there. Don't really 'get' this Brentford is full notion. Brentford has lots of derelict/vacant brownfield sites the redevelopment of which is, at least in terms of the fundamental principle, wholly supported by both national, regional and local planning guidance. Totally agree you can't have excessive redevelopment without the associated infrastructure improvements, but the use of the word "full" is a completely wrong way to describe a place that's littered with vacant commercial sites. |
