| Michael, I have read your post a few times and all I can do is say, bravo. Unfortunately, some of our councillors have no idea what the hard working, home owning people have done for this forgotten, neglected part of the Borough that they represent. I for one was brought up on 'the other side' and was extremely grateful for the opportunity the house (and my mother) afforded me. Unfortunately Govt. today - local and national - is lazy. So quick fixes and stats are always higher on their agenda than real solutions. This is why the same old arguments are trotted out time after time. So this, CPZ and the embarrassment that is the funding for the 'High Street' are all to be applauded. Because they tell us so. I for one am fed up with this abuse. Brentford IS full. Build your 'affordable housing' in Chiswick. I dare you. |
