We all know that when a multi- storey car park runs out of spaces the FULL sign lights up, no one can get in until someone gets out. That is exactly what is about to happen on the streets of St. Paul's conservation area, Brentford. This is NOT derelict or under-used land, as the planners would have people believe. It is an amenity for the community. It is used and many people I have spoken to have already lodged their objections. If people are unsure about how to lodge an objection that will stack up against Hounslow's UDP, a turgid 272 page document, well contact me via the forum and I will share what I have gathered gladly. St Paul's conservation area is a like a delicate ecosystem that is on the brink of suffering irreparable damage. Existing residents and businesses will suffer from the loss of parking and all this in the name of progress - the powers that be are taking us for fools. Get your objections in now - before 7 Feb - no objection is a waste of ink, or has democracy died in this part of Britain? |
