| I see they have marked the kerbs and they are longer than in the notice sent out by highways. I see that cones have been placed. I now have a letter confirming that the Fire Brigade did not conduct any such trials in the streets nor provide any recomendations to LBH. I shall be forwarding the letter for comments from LBH. I do though have an email from the contractors for recycling and the refuse dept who wish to deploy extra long vehicles whic exceed the LCC, GLC and GLA recomended wheelbase lengths for utility vehicles within the Greater London area. This is purely to allow a "more prudent operation for our clients' In actual fact so they can make a bigger profit from their tender. At the inconvenience of their actual financiers...Us! Never mind Brentford is Full, Hounslow seems Bent. |
