| According to B&I Chronicle yesterday 'more than 3,500 complaints poured into the Civic Centre's complaints lines' and one Cllr advises that "people will be put off recycling" However the environment chief responsible, Cllr Barbara Reid, has insisted that 'there was still an enormous amount of enthusiasm and goodwill among residents" This website reported that said Cllr Reid was in Cannes with the Council Leader Peter Thompson on an all expenses paid lavish trip when the recycling debacle happened so does she REALLY know of the 'enormous amount of enthusiasm and goodwill' or is she simply out of touch with reality? |
