| I am bemused by the new rubbish collection system, the old system was simple and workable, the new system is not. Was a pilot system run to ascertain the numerous problems of the new system? I have a large house but a small kitchen, where am I to keep the various waste containers? I also cannot remember which week to put out the plastic, I will continue to drop off my plastic at Somerfield when I pass there and continue to use the tried and tested Green Box. I should point out I compost 100% of my garden waste and around 70% of my house waste is recycled or composted with generally only one black bag of rubbish to be collected each week. |
