| Quite strange that Stephen Derby feels driven to post the Hounslow South election results following the Tory party's humiliating defeat after such a short time in 'power'. Even during their time in power they had to rely on the ICG to achieve their short period OFF the opposition seats. History has shown that they made such a mess of the environment in such a short time that they will never have another chance to prove themselves to the good people of LBH. Any sympathy some may have had for some Tory Cllrs being so ignorant or out of their depth on environmental and planning issues has now been kicked swiftly into touch by Mr Derby's affirmation that the Tory Group voted against residents' wishes purely because they were too frightened to confront Thames Water in the unlikely event of an appeal against the decision. Residents will never forget this backstab by Mr Derby's Tory Group. |
