"The previous LBH administration was a coalition." Indeed it was - and the coalition partners told the Tories in no uncertain terms that to vote approval would be environmental madness as it was unsustainable and the issue should be referred to the Mayor of London as Hounslow officers were not equipped or competent to deal with an application of such magnitude. The facts speak for themselves as the works is now out of control. "Andrew Dakers the former Lib Dem Leader apparently regretted doing so." And hats off to Andrew Dakers - at least he had the balls and the grace to admit he was wrong. The big question is - do the Tories admit they were wrong or are they going to continue with the same old same old same old mantra that Labour said it would all be ok so we voted on a hunch and bowed to Ruth Cadbury's persuasion and vastly superior intellect? Come on John - tell us what the Tories think about it now that it has been proved conclusively that the expansion has not been sustainable. Any apology or thoughts on how to address the ongoing problems? |
