The following extract from the LBH website should clear up how everyone voted. In case anyone thinks this extract is inaccurate or doctored in any way they can view the original on the Council website at http://democraticservices.hounslow.gov.uk/mgAi.aspx?ID=46701 "Members still had concerns about the odour from the site, the delays by Thames Water in dealing with complaints from residents and the history of Thames Water’s lack of compliance with the Council. However, they acknowledged that expansion of the site to deal with current volumes of sewage was necessary and that granting approval of the application would mean that the Council was more likely to retain control of the site through the S.106 agreement. They accepted that the determining of the planning application could not be delayed to allow for other external litigation processes to be decided. Members voted on the officer’s recommendation, as follows: For - Councillors Barwood, Bath, Cadbury, B.Fisher, D.Grewal, Hearn, Hills, Hughes, Hutchison, Jabbal, Mann and O’Reilly. Against - Councillor Hardy Abstain - None." |
