| This is not going to be popular, however it does need to be aired,you Phil gave us the information of how this action took place 5 Tories,5 Labour, 1 Lib Dem also I ICG who abstained that in itself was a vote given consequently how can you Steve insist that it was only the Tories who made this dreadful decision. Responsibility must be accepted by all who belonged to this committee, each member of that committee should have been voting for the benefit of our community not party politics(I scratch your back you scratch mine attitude)they all had the opportunity to vote Yea or Nay not abstain. It is also very worrying knowing that important decisions that affect the whole of our community are taken by such a small number of councilors, when really the whole council should have been in on this decision. 60 councilors against 12 councilors with NO abstaining allowed, and the decision would have been the right one. |
