| Not a shame at all when Councillors (or one Councillor) declares that he is "proud of" dropping concrete blocks in the middle of the road! They deserve all the flak that is generated. I haven't read a councilor say he or she was proud of dropping concrete blocks in the middle of the road. This was started by Central Government on the back of Covid-19. But you can also depend on LBOH to take the ETO closure measures to the extreme. Which is carried out by LBOH the traffic department, who I believe have taken old traffic problems that have been around for years and finally done something about them. The only problem is, they have all beaning carried out at the same time, which is a bit of getting use to. I also believe that LBOH hasn't got any real traffic engineers as you can see by the mess up being made of various road closures. Why one Councilor should take all the flak for all of Hounlslow ETO's I have know Idea, Its the traffic officers that should be hung out to dry for being so incompetent. But that said, they cannot post on hear for you to have a go at, so as human nature goes, we pick on the person who will stick their head over the parapet. |
