| Mark This is part of my post on the 26th If Occupation Lane is closed, then there will no way out of the estate, so I know what I would do, turn left out of chestnut Ave quickly turn right into Carville Crescent, then reverse back out into Clayponds Avenue, then you can drive straight down to the lights on the A4. I am no traffic engineer but would a No Left Hand turn Sign into Chestnut Ave sited on the Ealing Road be slightly better? I visit the area quite frequently and tried it out and it was easy to do. Now if the regular rat running traffic gets to know that you might have a regular stream of vehicles doing u turns at Carville Crescent. But as you say this is also a well used walking route to Lionel Primary School rear entrance. Just goes to show our LBOH traffic offers have no Idea of how to create a safe place for pedestrians and Cyclist. |
