| Then we must not allow that Paul,Brentford was a thriving community with Grocery,Shoe,Bakers,Dairy,Green Grocers even a Pie & Eel Shop also a Fire Station! Docks Galore until Compulsory Purchasing began in the 50's! Property was "Bought"for next to nothing & left Derelict for Decades & still is in Brentford High St.Our Community is only as good at the amenities supplied. As a Brentonian I am proud of our Historical Heritage & will fight Tooth & Nail to bring Life back into my Town!! If it means Protests with Placards then Surprise!Surprise !There are many who are very willing to parade outside Morrisons with them.Peacefully of course :-) Also our Green Spaces have drastically been reduced,what's left must be cherished!! |
