| That's a kind offer Guy and I will. Although I fell that this forum is a great way of keeping touch and feeling the pulse of Brentford. I have no political aspirations whatsover but have engaged and attended meetings more so in the previous period when I lived and grew up here. Work commitments and family demands take up the time I have. I could never put in the time that people like yourself are able to with meetings and events a plenty. But, like many others I expect, I can at least read, think and digest and contribute here at any time when free to do so. If only to provoke, stimulate and suggest ideas or express an opinion. Something that does not happen in unanswered emails or letters to LBH for example. As for uselessness. Yes and No to that. It is most certainly not everybody. But those who are far from useless who have taken the trouble to put in the hours of effort have been largely ignored or sidelined. Hounslow has and has had some really capable officers but they never stay for long. So no. everybody is not useless. |
