| Having had time to read the Local Plan I am delighted by Page 165, which refers soley to the Morrisons site. It states development of this site must provide an appropriate provision for town centre car parking and it also states a floorspace ratio of 75:25 retail to residential use. I love hard numbers, as that removes all ambiguity and wriggle room that a developer can use. So 75% retail use, 25% residential and appropriate town centre parking. Essential Living I suggest has bought a site they will have to offload to a more appropriate developer. How about selling it to Waitrose, Sainsburys or Tesco. |
