| I understand everything perfectly clearly. The council made a planning decision that instantly increased the value of the land. This made it more financially viable for the current owner to sell on to a developer than to lease out in its current state. As a member of the voting public, I would rightly expect the council to act in a way that protects vital community amenities in a town that has precious few of them. As for having a nice day, unfortunately the next nice day I have is likely to be the day I leave Brentford. |
